Jamie Redknapp and his new wife Frida Andersson have celebrated tying the knot with a dinner party in Mayfair.

The former footballer, 48, and and his heavily pregnant partner, 37, got married on Monday in a low-key ceremony four years after Jamie divorced ex-wife Louise Redknapp.

The couple were joined by friends and family at the ceremony in Chelsea Registry office in West London before heading for an intimate dinner party in Mayfair.

Frida stepped out at the party wearing her stunning white gown she wed in earlier in the day.

The form-fitting off-the-shoulder garment hugged her baby bump and she completed her bridal look with white court heels.

She wore her hair down in loose waves after she opted against a veil.

A League Of Their Own star Jamie looked handsome as he stepped out for their night in a navy suit teamed with a crisp shirt and black tie.

The newlyweds were once again joined by those closest to them, including Jamie's mum and dad, Harry and Sandra Redknapp.

Jamie's brother Mark was also in attendance as a selection of guests arrived at Scott's Restaurant.

Others celebrating the happy occasion included TV presenter Christine Lampard, who arrived in a stunning black and white gown with black heels.

She looked extremely happy to be joining the newlyweds on their special day.

Jamie and Frida have been together since 2019 and will welcome their first child together in November.

The sports presenter also has two sons with ex-wife Louise; Charles, 17, and Beau, 12.

Model Frida has four children from her marriage to US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.

Jamie's dad Harry also recently told The Mirror that his son and new wife would be keeping their baby's gender a secret.

He said: "Jamie is very happy and Frida is happy.

"We're lucky that Jamie has two boys already, Charley and Beau, and our other son Mark has five children, so this will be grandchild number eight.

"We've got our hands full!"

A body language expert analysed Jamie and Frida's body language shortly after pics from their wedding were released and said it's clear Jamie is focused on playing the protector role with Frida and his unborn child.

Judi Jones told The Mirror: "The mood of the entire wedding group seems to be low-key rather than celebratory as they emerge onto the steps of the registry office looking very much as thought they’d prefer to signal this as a private event."

Giving away doting partner Jamie's priority, she added: "Jamie walks slightly ahead of his pregnant bride, with his hand on top in the clasp. He also has his wrist bent, suggesting he is determined to be a protective presence for her."
