Rugby ace James Haskell has told of his devotion to his wife Chloe Madeley in a sweet tribute - after giving up his womanising ways.

In a warts 'n all interview James, 35, gave an insight into the pair's relationship and told how she's the "glue that holds him together", who has looked after him when he was "injured and feeling down".

The former Wasps star also told how Chloe, the daughter of TV legends Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, claims he has slept with 1,000 women but he knows "she is the one".

James told The Sun : “I knew she was The One when I was in hospital, recovering from another operation, and she was haranguing hospital staff, offering to pay for a bed in hospital so she could be by my side.

“I knew then she wasn’t going anywhere.

James said Chloe, who he married in December 2018, has always stayed by his side

“Chloe is the glue that holds everything together. She looked after me when I was injured and down, she nursed me back to health."

He added Chloe, who he married in December 2018, has stayed by his side - "learning about rugby when she knew absolutely nothing about the game before meeting me", adding cheekily "she’s fit... and sometimes funny".

Speaking frankly about about his sex life, James told how his wife had "did the numbers game" and claimed he had slept with 1,000 women, but he replied "12".

He said he was "having absolutely no part in it", adding "all that stuff, it’s completely irrelevant" and he didn't need to go into the minutiae of his past.

He told how Chloe thinks every time she goes to the gym he watches porn.

At this point Chloe interrupted and insisted it was "true" and "James watches porn when she's working out".

James insisted Chloe likes X-rated movies, claiming" “Whenever she goes to type in YouTube on her phone it comes up YouPorn."

James retired in 2019 and is now pursuing a career in MMA.
