Ange Postecoglou is looking for his first victory as Celtic manager at the fourth time of asking in the Czech Republic.

The Hoops boss will be desperate to get that win under his belt quickly to avoid an increase in pressure so early in his Parkhead reign.

Europa League football is not what the Parkhead side wanted this season but they have to make the most of their consolation prize after being eliminated from the Champions League.

On paper, FK Jablonec looks like a favourable tie but progress will see a step up in class with AZ Alkmaar lying in wait.

The Czechs finished third in the Fortuna Liga behind the two Prague sides and some distance from champions Slavia who were 17 points above them with Sparta five ahead.

Celtic reached the Europa League group stage last season but it was a miserable campaign and they were thrashed 4-1 home and away by Sparta Prague.

They will be hoping for better fortunes on their return to the Czech Republic as Postecoglou looks to kickstart his time in charge.

Jablonec have reached the Europa League group stage once in their 76-year history.

They finished bottom of a section with Rennes, Dynamo Kiev and Astana.

They have twice been eliminated in the play-off round, going down to big guns Real Betis and Ajax.
