As she prepares to take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, TV presenter AJ Odudu will be spending a lot more time away from her luxurious stylish abode.

The 33-year-old will see the dance studio feel like a second home over the next few weeks, as she has been confirmed as one of the new stars to compete on the BBC ballroom dancing competition.

On Wednesday night's episode of The One Show, alongside McFly star Tom Fletcher and comedian Robert Webb, the Blackburn-born presenter was revealed as one of the famous faces ready to battle it out for the Glitterball trophy on this year's series of the hit show.

As AJ prepares to take to the dance floor and wow judges and viewers, we take a look at eye-catching Victorian maisonette-style flat she calls home.

Speaking to Harpers Bazaar in 2020, the Big Brother presenter revealed she spent a year searching for the perfect property before she settled on her dream home - a three-bedroom Victorian period conversion in South East London.

Since purchasing the stunning dwellings, the star has transformed the space into a vibrant, colourful and quirky home - documenting her progress along the way on a dedicated Instagram interiors page for her passion project.

According to Instagram, her orange couch is her "favourite colour" (

One piece that gets a lot of attention on social media is her eye-catching orange couch in the living room.

Speaking to Harpers Bazaar, AJ explained that she purchased the statement piece to compliment another area of her home.

"I bought the bright orange settee to tie in with the hallway from John Lewis and I think plants bring your home to life in the most decorative way so I've invested in plenty of those too," she told the publication in 2020.

AJ called buying her first house in 2019 a really "adult thing" to do (

It seems statement sofas are a trend in AJ's London home, as the Strictly star also owns another eye-catching couch.

With an impressive work of art situated behind it, the presenter says she purchased the deep blue sofa as bright shades are "so uplifting."

"They boost your energy and mood," she explained.

"Even when it’s grey outside, there’s still a bit of colour popping inside – it’s a way of bringing the sunshine in.”

With such an aesthetically pleasing property, AJ is sure to play host now and again, with a refurbished dining table and impressive kitchen.

If the mood calls for some alcohol, guest won't have to worry about bringing their own - the 33-year-old has a packed bar people can enjoy from the comfort of the sofa.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR. Wishing you all good health & happiness in your home," the star captioned a shot of her unique drinks trolley after one festive period.

"In other news, the bar has been drank dry... send wine!"

If AJ takes home any of the glittery costumes from Strictly Come Dancing, she'll have plenty of space to store them in her huge walk in wardrobe.

Taking to Instagram in 2019, the Lancashire beauty revealed she had achieved a life goal by having a spacious space for all her stylish clothes.

"I've always wanted a walk in wardrobe and now I've got one," she captioned a shot of her personal dressing room.

"Sliding wardrobe doors are the ultimate space saver and spot lights instead of the ceiling fan is what I opted for in my dressing room."
