Rylan celebrated his birthday in style this weekend with a massive house party filled with family and friends.
The Strictly: It Takes Two presenter turns 33 on Monday, so has used it as an excuse to let his hair down with an all out karaoke party at his swanky Essex pad.
Sharing photos from the day on Instagram, Rylan kept fans in the loop with dozens of Instagram stories showing off his and his family’s singing talents.
Good to see that Rylan’s X Factor days still aren’t that far behind him.
In a seeming callback to his days as a wannabe singer, Rylan put on a poker straight blonde wig similar to his old hairstyle as he serenaded his guests.
He later paid homage to close pal Claire Richards from Steps by grabbing the mic and singing Last Thing On My Mind.
Proud mum Linda was looking glam in a black and white suit, though was notably unimpresssed by someone’s rendition of The Killers’ classic, Mr Brightside.
Rylan snuggled up to Lizzie Cundy in another pic, declaring: “It’s not a party without Lizzie Cundy.”
The hilarious night soon got even wilder as the drinks flowed, with pals dancing in bin bag dresses, an emotional swaying moment to Enrique Ingelsias’s Hero, and a group performance to Spice Girls.
Rylan was spotted with a cigarette behind his ear, but later argued that he “doesn’t even smoke” with a pal trying to back him up as they both got the giggles.
His raucous celebrations were cheered on by his celebrity pals who weren’t able to attend, with Zoe Ball declaring: “happy birthday damn youth!!”
“Handsome man!!! 33 never looked sooooooo good!,” added Janette on a photo showing off his humungous gold and black balloon arch.
Rylan’s happy-go-lucky persona was back in full effect at the party, marking the start of a new and hopefully more positive year.
The beloved TV presenter has been taking time away from his hosting duties, including his BBC Radio 2 Show, in order to focus on his mental health.
Earlier this year, Rylan confirmed that he had split from his husband of six years, Dan Neal.
Despite attempts to reconcile the marriage, it’s claimed that the pair haven’t been able to get back on track.
After four months away from the spotlight, Rylan made his return - but reports claimed BBC bosses feared it was “too soon” and had even encouraged him to take a year off .
However, Rylan dispelled reports that he had broken down backstage of his radio show, and assured fans that he was doing much better, even though he previously hadn’t been OK.Read More Read More
