A frustrated woman sees neighborhood kids relentlessly kicking a soccer ball into her home's fence and takes drastic measures just for a moment's relief. He told me what he had learned.
An anonymous woman reached out to Mumsnet and described how she recently moved into a new property with a "nice alley."
But it didn't take long, she claims, to discover that the kids in her neighborhood were "soccer-loving."
In her post, she wrote:
"I used to politely ask them if there was an opportunity to play football away from the fence. It was helpful."
She continued:
The woman continued, "When the ball comes, I want peace."
"Let me be clear, you're welcome to knock on the door and have them come back, but I'm not going to throw them out.

Others, however, take a different stance and argue that women are wrong.
In response to her comment that the sound makes WFH impossible, one person asked: people's garden. That's part of what it means to have neighbors.
"If the fence is yours and they're damaging it, that's when you can moan. But the sound of a soccer ball hitting someone else's yard fence." is perfectly normal.”
Another wrote: "No, it is a reality. People of all ages are fully entitled to play ball games in their own yards during the day, for that is one of the things yards are actually intended for."
Third addition: "Children need to play. They play soccer in their own yard. That's the life I fear. Living around people, especially children."
