I’m a proud Catfish and never hide my fake teeth – but cruel trolls say my incredible transformation should be ‘illegal’

NOW that the world is starting to open up again, we're making the most of getting all glammed up to hang out with friends and family.

But while our wavy hair and glowing complexion may look completely effortless, there's no denying it takes a solid hour (at least) to achieve.

One person who knows a little something about this is 36-year-old TikTok star Alicia.

The mum - who goes by "Princess Glitter Head" online - has amassed over over one MILLION followers on social media thanks to her incredible "Catfish" transformation videos.

Using the hashtag "Toothless TikTok Catfish", Alicia shared a video earlier this week where she gave followers an insight into her morning routine.

In May, Alicia bravely opened up about how experienced severe tooth decay during her pregnancy and now wears dentures.

Reflecting on her pregnancy 15 years ago, Alicia said: "I don’t think I ate properly. I wasn’t as healthy as I should have been. So the baby had to strip things out of my body that I didn’t know I didn’t have… mostly calcium from [my] teeth."

As she was "genetically predisposed to extreme calcium loss" during pregnancy, the mum said her teeth became hollow and brittle on the inside and randomly started falling out.

Nowadays, Alicia wears her her dentures daily to give her a sparkling smile.

In the viral clip celebrating hitting one million followers, the mum filmed herself drying her natural hair after having a shower, putting a wig on and doing her makeup.

Next, she used a NYX eyebrow pencil to fill in her brows before applying Mac's Pro LongWear concealer.

After prepping her skin with Benefit's Porefessional Primer, she then used Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation and blended it in with a Real Techniques sponge.

Once she'd completed this step, Alicia put on some Eylure false lashes, lined her lips with NYX's Sand Beige liner and finished off with Morphe's Setting Spray.

Since going viral earlier this month, Alicia's clip has racked up over 1.2m "likes" from fans - but it's also subjected her to some cruel trolling too.

"This should be illegal," one wrote.

Another added: "Absolute witchcraft."

A third wrote: "To me, that's a false advertisement."

In response to the criticism, Alicia added: "I'm a happily married mom of 15 years with four kids and I wear makeup for ME.

"I'm also a makeup artist with the same rights as anyone else to wear it."
