I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here viewers have complained to Ofcom about ex-Rugby star James Haskell's 'club foot' comment.

In a conversation with former Arsenal star and football pundit Ian Wright, the 34-year-old poked fun at his fellow campmate running through the camp.

James said: "He's completely lost the plot. Look at that club foot."

TV watchdog Ofcom has received 78 complaints.

The comment was made when Ian ran through the camp

A spokesperson said: "We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate."

One person on Twitter said: "I'm sorry, but I'm really disgusted by James Haskell’s comment about clubfoot. Why is this acceptable?"

Another posted: "Walk a step or two in the shoes of someone with club foot and you would understand the pain. From an upset mother of a complex bilateral club foot son."

James has hit the headlines for other reasons during his jungle stint.

Coronation Street fans were less than impressed with the sportsman's dig at soap favourite Andy Whyment.

James claimed Andy got the camp deputy role alongside new leader Caitlyn Jenner because of the 'power of Corrie'.
