The I'm A Celebrity 2020 grand finale is fast approaching and bookies think a "dark horse" could become the winner.

The race is on for the first King or Queen of the castle crown as the celebrities have adapted to castle life.

Campmates this year are residing in the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele in North Wales in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, with long-running presenters Ant and Dec hosting live each night.

Ever since his heroics in the first few trials, Radio 1 DJ Jordan North has been the frontrunner in the betting and with days to go until the final, none of his fellow contestants have yet to overtake him.

However Jordan, 30, now has strong competition in the eyes of bookmakers when it comes to bagging the crown, reports Chronicle Live.

After originally being well behind Beverley Callard to even be the "top female" this year, author and podcast star Giovanna Fletcher is now favourite to win the whole thing with Betfair.

Ahead of Monday's shock double eviction, Betfair had both Jordan and Giovanna at 7/4 to win but that has now changed to put Giovanna ahead at the time of writing on Tuesday.
