I’m A Celebrity 2020 latest – I’m A Celebrity fans terrified a favourite will go ahead of ANOTHER double eviction

I'M A Celeb fans are devastated after "popular" Jessica Plummer and Russell Watson were booted out last night.

Jordan North and Giovanna Fletcher are now hot favourites to win I'm A Celeb after the evictions.

But many IAC fans were more concerned about the former EastEnders actress and popular singer leaving.

Giovanna is the last woman standing on the show, with many fans hoping that she'll go all the way to the top and name Queen of the Castle.

The remaining male camp mates are Mo Farah, AJ Pritchard, Shane Richie, Vernon Kay and Jordan.

  • DOUBLE WHAMMY

With only two more nights before the King or Queen of the Castle is announced, the I’m A Celeb team needs to start clearing out some of the stars.

After tonight’s shock double elimination, only four competitors will remain to compete in the iconic Celebrity Cyclone challenge.

Last night saw Jessica Plummer and Russell Watson became the fifth and sixth stars to be booted from the castle camp – leaving many viewers stunned.

They were kicked out hot on the heels of Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard, 63, and BBC journalist Victoria Derbyshire, 52, who were sent packing the previous night.

  • SHANE RICHIE OPENS UP ABOUT THE DEATH OF HIS FORMER FIANCEE.

The former EastEnders actor was “devastated” after being told Dawn Rodgers had taken her own life.

He was engaged to the dancer for more than a year but their relationship broke down when he met Coleen Nolan.

It led to him ending things with Dawn, telling her: “I can't help who I fall in love with.”

Months later Dawn, who went on to find a new love herself, took her own life.

He wrote in his autobiography: “I was devastated. I couldn’t even imagine how her family felt.”

  • WHEN IS THE I'M A CELEBRITY 2020 FINAL?

It’s really close… this Friday at 9pm in fact.

The show usually ends on a Sunday, but things have changed this year.

So producers have brought the closing show, where the winner will be crowned King or Queen of Castle, forward.

  • JORDAN NORTH NEW 5-4 FAVOURITE TO WIN I’M A CELEB

Bookmaker Coral said he became a favourite to win I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here following a swing in the betting after last night’s show.

Giovanni Fletcher is second best in the firm’s betting at 7-4, Vernon Kay and Shane Richie can be backed at 6-1, while Mo Farah is 16-1.

Coral’s John Hill said: “Jordan has been a real star in this series of I’m A Celeb and he is back to the top of the betting to be crowned the winner.

“Our betting suggests it is going to be a two-horse race in the final between Jordan and Giovanna.”

  • I’M A CELEBRITY SUPERFAN GETS TATTOO OF ANT AND DEC AT GWRYCH CASTLE

Phil Norval, from Rhyl, got the Geordie pair etched onto the back of his thigh to celebrate the show filming in Wales for the first time.

The tattoo was designed by his nephew and an artist in Abergele took three hours to draw it on his leg.

He admitted it was the “most painful” tattoo he's ever had done – but he's hoping his favourite TV presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be impressed by his efforts.

Phil, 47, told ITV news: “I've always been a big fan of Ant and Dec and I love all their shows so I was really excited to hear I'm a Celebrity was coming to North Wales.

“I thought I may as well get a tattoo to mark the occasion as it might never happen again.

  • RUSSELL WATSON: I LOST 9KG BECAUSE OF FOOD AND COLD

Watson said he had lost more than 9kg in the two weeks he spent in Gwrych Castle due to their restricted diet, which he estimated at about 600 or 700 calories a day.

He said: “If your belly is empty and you are cold it feels even colder.

“It was freezing in there, like white fingers and that malarkey. I couldn't believe it.

“I got weighed, I'm not telling you how much I weigh obviously because that's private, but when I went in there I was a certain weight.

“I came out and I had lost nearly 20 pounds in two weeks … I put my pants on this morning because I thought I might smarten myself up and wear a nice suit today.

“I put my pants on and they literally fell down to the floor. I won't be wearing them today then. I had to put two belts on just to hold my jeans up.”

  • RUSSELL WATSON: I'M A CELEB TRIAL REMINDED ME OF BRAIN TUMOUR TREATMENT

Russell Watson has revealed he almost backed out of the Rancid Rotisserie trial on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! because the contraption reminded him of the MRI scanner used during his brain tumour treatment.

The classical music star, who has survived two pituitary tumours, said he became “panicky” upon being strapped to the rotating machine, which repeatedly dunked him into cold gunge as he attempted to correctly answer trivia questions.

But the 54-year-old, who was eliminated from the ITV show on Tuesday, said that despite his claustrophobia he managed to steel himself and complete the challenge.

Speaking after his departure, he said: “I would have liked to have done a couple more trials but the public are voting and that was that. But the one I did do was enough to last me a lifetime.”

He added: “I am sure they had it in a freezer overnight because it was freezing cold.

  • REVEALED: AJ PRITCHARD WAS ‘VISITED BY HIS LATE NAN ON I’M A CELEB’

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, AJ's girlfriend Abbie Quinnen opened up about the poignant moment a robin was seen in the castle at the weekend.

Robins are traditionally viewed as a sign that a deceased loved one is close by, and the scene aired on Sunday night – meaning that it actually happened on Saturday, just one day after his nan's passing.

Earlier this week, the 26-year-old dancer's brother Curtis announced that their beloved grandma Angela had passed away on Friday [27 November] at the age of 93.

AJ will not be told the sad news until after he has left the ITV show, but 23-year-old Abbie told how the family believe that Angela made her presence at the castle known.

  • AJ PRITCHARD’S GIRLFRIEND ABBIE REVEALS STAR’S SIGNAL SHOWS HE’S MISSING HOME

Abbie, 23, has now shared the tell-tale sign that he is missing home as he hurtles towards Friday night's final.

The blonde beauty pointed out that AJ kisses his hat during the live segments of the show, which he has adorned with the names of his mum and dad, brother Curtis, as well as her own.

Abbie told us: “He is definitely missing home, I can tell – we've noticed that he kisses his hat, with my name, his mum and dad's, and Curt's every time he gets through.

“The fact he does that shows that he is missing us.”

  • SPOILER: MO FARAH SCREAMS IN TERROR AND TRIES TO ESCAPE TRIAL

Sir Mo shrieks in terror in tonight's trial and comes close to escaping his chair after being spooked by a leaf.

The Olympic champ is a bag of nerves as Ant and Dec talk to him and AJ Pritchard through the Game of Grones rules.

The celebs can be seen sitting back to back upon two thrones stationed on a rotating platform, as they prepare to be showered with all sorts of nasties.

When the hosts ask if they're sitting comfortably, Mo lets out a whimper.

Dec laughs: “Mo, you look on edge. You don't look relaxed.”

  • IS SHANE RICHIE RETURNING TO EASTENDERS AS ALFIE MOON?

The actor — who played Alfie for 17 years — has hinted his character, currently on the run in Spain, may return to Walford.

He revealed: “I could well go back to EastEnders but I am not sure when exactly that’s going to be.

“It is amazing how people think that I am still in it. I think because they are talking about Alfie in the show that people assume I am still in it and people are always nice.”

Shane first appeared on the soap in 2002 and left on Christmas Day in 2005.

He had another beloved spell on our screens in 2010 following the return of his onscreen wife Kat Slater, before departing again in 2016.

  • WHEN IS THE I'M A CELEBRITY 2020 FINAL?

    The I'm A Celebrity final is on December 4, 2020 at 9pm.

The show usually ends on a Sunday, but things have changed this year.

So producers have brought the closing show, where the winner will be crowned King or Queen of Castle, forward.

  • WHAT IS THE PRIZE FOR WINNING I'M A CELEBRITY?

ITV don't pay out prize money for the winner of I'm A Celeb.

Instead they agree a fee to be paid to each of the celebs before they enter the jungle – or castle.

However, popular contestants have gone on to make much more money after the show has ended.

  • WHO WON I'M A CELEBRITY 2019?

On December 8, 2019, Jacqueline Jossa was crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity.

Speaking about winning the show Jacqueline said: “I can't believe I've done all that stuff.”

In an emotional moment, she said that she felt the show had been a “turning point” in her life.

  • WHEN IS THE I'M A CELEBRITY 2020 FINAL?

    The I'm A Celebrity final is on December 4, 2020 at 9pm.

The show usually ends on a Sunday, but things have changed this year.

  • WHO IS FAVOURITE TO LEAVE I'M A CELEBRITY TONIGHT?

There will be another eviction this evening and here's who is favourite to go:

  • WHO WILL WIN? I'M A CELEBRITY 2020 ODDS

Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Despite the weather outside things are hotting up in the castle, and it's a clear three-horse race between Jordan, Giovanna and Vernon to emerge as this year's winner.”

  • RUSSELL WATSON FORCED TO TAKE COCKTAIL OF DRUGS EACH DAY TO STAY ALIVE

Last night the opera star, 54, became the eighth campmate to be evicted from the show.

But what we didn't see during his time in the castle, is that he relies on medication to keep him well, after suffering TWO brain tumours.

After battling a benign but aggressive tumour in 2006, Russell was diagnosed with his second pituitary tumour the following year.

The Brit opera star was told he would never sing again after a seven-hour op to remove the growth, which haemorrhaged in four places.

  • LEGENDARY CELEBRITY CYCLONE SET IS FIRED UP AT GWRYCH CASTLE AHEAD OF TONIGHT’S LIVE TRIAL

Members of the crew on the ITV hit, which returns tonight at 9pm, were seen setting it up and putting the course through its paces.

Celebrity Cyclone is usually undertaken in the scorching Australian summer sun — and the UK wintertime version looks a good deal chillier.

In fact, temperatures in the North Wales market town of Abergele, where the show is filmed, are currently hovering around seven degrees C.

That could mean the celebs squeezing into wetsuits rather than slipping into skimpy superhero-themed T-shirts and capes.

  • I'M A CELEBRITY CHIEFS HAVE SCRAPPED EMOTIONAL FAMILY REUNION SCENES.

Producers have decided to axe the segment due to fears over the coronavirus pandemic.

In 2018 footie's Harry Redknapp was reduced to tears when wife Sandra entered the Australian jungle as a surprise.

A show source said: “ITV were desperate to include the segment as it is always really sweet and heart-warming.

“It's also a nice lift for the celebs who are fed up after three weeks of rations and being away from family.

“But this year they've realised with Covid rules and restrictions, it's just too much of a logistical headache, so have had to knock it on the head.”

The rules also mean for the first time , the winner will not be met by a loved one.

  • FANS SLAM SHOW AS ‘SEXIST’ AFTER GIOVANNA ONLY WOMAN LEFT

Giovanna Fletcher is now the only female left in camp.

It comes after her fellow campmate Jessica Plummer was eliminated on Tuesday night's show.

The former EastEnders star, 28, waved goodbye to Gwyrch Castle alongside Russell Watson, 54,

But soon after Jessica's departure, fans were quick to point out that Giovanna was the only female left in camp.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Why is all the females being voted out of imaceleb how sexist like seriously.”

  • VERNON KAY’S HEARTACHE AFTER TESS DALY RAN OVER FAMILY PET

'M A Celebrity's Vernon Kay was left heartbroken when wife Tess Daly ran over and killed the family's pet dog.

The Strictly host accidentally last year killed Maltese Shih Tzu Minnie as she returned home after builders left a door open and the pet escaped.

Tess, 51, told the Sun at the time: “I’m devastated by this terrible accident.”

She added: “It’s a dog owner’s worst nightmare.”

“It has had a huge effect on the whole family and we are heartbroken at losing Minnie.

“This has, and continues to be, a very emotional time for us all.”

  • WHEN DOES I’M A CELEBRITY 2020 FINISH?
