I had to hide in the garden after my partner threw me down the stairs — sometimes I even sleep in the shed

ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP

DEAR DEIDRE: I HAD to hide in the garden last night after my husband threw me down the stairs.

He becomes so angry sometimes I get very scared. It gets so bad that I often sleep in the shed to escape his temper.

He blamed me for our latest argument and called my parents, who were worried about my bruises, to tell them it was all my fault.

I am a 31-year-old gay guy and my husband is 33.

We have been married for three years.

I do love him but, if I am honest, I am frightened of him.

I don’t know what to do.

You don’t deserve any of this.
