I get really paranoid when by boyfriend goes to visit his ex and their child

EX STRESS

DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN my boyfriend sees his ex and their child, it leaves me paranoid.

I am 18 and desperately in love with my boyfriend, who is 25. He has a little boy of three and says his relationship with his ex was toxic.

I am not sure I can cope with a relationship with someone who already has a child by another woman. She sends me abusive messages and tries to split us up.

She has a boyfriend but claims my boyfriend has slept with her recently. He tells me he hates her.

I should be happy being in love but, instead, I am always worried.

DEIDRE SAYS: Your boyfriend will always be involved with his child’s mother, over seeing his son and child maintenance, and that’s how it should be for his little boy’s sake.
That is going to be extra-hard for you to handle when you’re not at that stage of life yourself.

If you don’t feel you can 100 per cent trust your boyfriend, why take on the burden?
