Nearly 500 homes were hit by a power cut in East Yorkshire on Thursday night.
490 homes in the HU11, HU12 and HU13 areas of Hessle were affected.
Northern Powergrid said the powercut was due to an "unexpected problem with the electricity cable that serves the area".
The power was restored by 5pm

Northern Powergrid say the power cut was reported at around 3.42pm.
When will the power be restored?
Northern Powergrid are hoping to have the power restored to the HU11, HU12 and HU13 areas by 5pm.

A spokesman for Northern Powergrid said: “Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible. The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the electricity cable that serves your area.”
