Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of Hull City's home clash with Peterborough United.

The Tigers host Posh in the stand-out game in League One this weekend, with both teams coming into the 3pm kick-off in good form.

City have won their last two, beating Rochdale and AFC Wimbledon, while Darren Ferguson's Posh have won four on the spin in the league, to move within three points of Grant McCann's league leaders.

For McCann, the game holds extra meaning, given his spell in charge of the London Road club prior to his move to east Yorkshire, so he'll be desperate to get one over his old paymasters.

We'll bring you the key build-up from the KCOM followed by team news at 2pm and all the match action as the Tigers hope to enhance their promotion credentials with three points, followed by reaction at full-time.

From the opposition...

One of today’s interesting side-shows is Grant McCann facing up to his old boss, Darren Ferguson, and of course, the history that exists between McCann and Posh.. Here, Ferguson gives his thoughts on McCann...

Grant was a fantastic player for me,. And I’m not surprised he went on to become a manager and I’m also not surprised he’s done well at it.

He’s got the better of me as a manager so far, but we haven’t met that often. It’s certainly a game I want to win.

I know from my own experience how upsetting relegations can be. They can happen, but it’s important you start the following season well and Grant has done that.

Around the grounds...

We’ll start today with the fixtures - interesting to note that City’s next two opponents, Bristol Rovers and Swindon, have both had their games called off this afternoon...

Goooooooooooooood afternoon!

And welcome to what promises to be quite an afternoon at the KCOM Stadium, with two of League One’s form sides going at it. We’ll do our level best to bring you the very best coverage as City look to make it four straight wins at home in the league for the first time in ages, while also ensuring they stay top of the league.
