Hull City have unveiled their new home kit for the 2021/22 season – and they’re breaking away from tradition.
The Tigers will of course be back in the Championship next season after securing the League One title at the first time of asking, ensuring an immediate return to the second tier.
They’ll be running out at the KCOM Stadium in a brand new strip for the new campaign, and it’s not quite what fans will be used to.
Rather than the usual black and amber stripes that supporters have become accustomed to, the 21/22 shirt instead incorporates a black sash on an amber background.

A release from the club said: “Manufactured by Umbro, the amber home shirt features a diagonal pattern with a striking black sash and a stylised crew neckline.
“The shorts are black with amber side panels, while the amber socks have black detail and ‘Tigers’ wording.
“The kit is proudly sponsored by principal partners Giacom, while On Line Group will continue as our back-of-shirt sponsor.”

Club captain Richie Smallwood, vice-captain Lewie Coyle, Callum Elder and Keane Lewis-Potter all modelled the new strip as it was unveiled this morning.
On-sale dates are yet to be confirmed for the 21/22 kit, with delivery having been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit, but fans can expect to see the new strip at the KCOM soon.
