Savvy parents are lining up the bargains for next week's half-term holiday, as the coat of living is set to soar for most households.
Treats and the odd meal out can soon add up to a sizeable amount, but mums and dads who have taken out a policy with comparethemarket can save some cash, especially midweek.
The comparison website has added a raft of popular family brands to its Meerkat Meals rewards programme and the savings can really add up for hungry families.

Deals include both eating out and eating in, as well as cinema tickets.
Toby Carvery, Harvester, Ember Inns, Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery and Sizzling Pubs have recently signed up to the Meerkat Meals rewards programme, joining favourites such as Prezzo and Pizza Hut and numerous independent restaurants including Ember Inns in Newcastle and Durham and Harvester at Ryhope.
Deals vary include 2 for 1 on selected food or 25% off the bill on various days of the week, so it is best to check the Meerkat app and phone ahead before you set off.
If you prefer to eat at home, customers can benefit from at least 10% off delivery and collection orders seven days a week, although again, conditions do apply.
For instance, you need to spend a minimum of Â£30 to get 50% off at Papa Johnâ€™s and Pizza Hut deliveries, so again, check the small print before ordering.
If youâ€™re planning a trip to the cinema over half term, stick to Tuesday or Wednesday and you will be able to get 2 for 1 prices at participating cinemas, including Odeon at The Gate Newcastle, Silverlink in North Shields, Gateshead and Durham.
As this can be a popular promotion, it's best to book cinema tickets in advance.
