How to get a 4ft Christmas fir tree for less than £1 using cashback

SHOPPERS can bag a Christmas tree for less than a £1 this year using a clever cashback hack.

Online retailer Groupon currently has a deal on to buy a 4ft Alaskan Pine Green Christmas Tree for £14.98 with £1.99 delivery.

But cashback site has pointed out that it offers six per cent cashback with Groupon, plus new members of the site can receive a bonus of £15 when signing up via a Black Friday bonus link.

If you combine the cashback and the bonus, you can purchase the Christmas Tree for only 95p – stellar saving of £16.02.

The offer is only available to new members of TopCashback who have signed up through the link above.

Then simply search for Groupon on the cashback site and purchase the Alaskan Pine Green Christmas Tree.

The £16.02 cashback should track through and be seen in your TopCashback account within seven days - but it can take up to 30 days for the money to appear.

If you fancy a bigger tree, the offer is still valid on the larger sizes.

Using the cashback and joining bonus combo, a 5ft tree would cost you 35.65, a 6ft tree £7.53, a 7ft tree £16.93 and an 8ft tree £27.27.

The description suggests the tree is "perfect for medium to large sized rooms".

At the moment, Argos' cheapest trees are around £11 for a 5ft spruce, or £15 for one which is 6ft.
And Amazon sells 6ft trees from around £20.

But there are cheaper options: here's a guide on where to buy the cheapest 6ft tree.

Meanwhile, Homebase has slashed the prices of all of its artificial Christmas trees and lights by at least a third.

And if you fancy something different, Argos is selling an amazing 5ft rainbow tree.
