How did YouTube star Nicole Thea die?

Nicole Thea was a British dancer and social media influencer who documented her life online.

The 24-year-old passed away along with her unborn child on Saturday July 12.

Who was Nicole Thea?

Mum-to-be Nicole, who had 110,000 followers on Instagram, was a British dancer and Instagram influencer.

Thea, 24, was eight months pregnant with her son.

She lived in London with her partner, Global Boga.

Nicole announced that she was pregnant on Instagram 12 weeks ago: "We can't hide this any longer, secrets out... God gave us the biggest blessing yet.

"I'm finally creating a beautiful little human iside of me.

She had been documenting her pregnancy on her Instagram and her YouTube channel.

How did she die?

The 24-year-old passed away along with her unborn child on Saturday July 12.

The circumstances of the YouTube star's death are unknown and she had previously commented about having "a good pregnancy".

Her devastated mum confirmed the double tragedy, saying "our hearts are truly broken".

She wrote: "To all Nicole's friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and [partner] Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.

"Nicole [had] presheduled a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.

"As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.

"Thank you her mum RIP.

"My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign.

"I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven."

A Youtube video - believed to have been prescheduled - was posted after 5pm on Sunday, about an hour before news of her death was officially announced on Instagram.
