Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson has revealed the dramatic aftermath of the murder of teenager Sid Sumner.

Sid was stabbed and killed by drug lord Victor in harrowing scenes on Tuesday, while his death was not announced until Wednesday.

The teen, who was trying to record a confession from crime boss Victor to get him sent down for good, died in Ste Hay's arms in emotional scenes.

Now, speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Ste actor Kieron has revealed the danger doesn't stop at Sid's death - while teasing how the murder impacts the village.

Ste will seek justice for Sid, planning to finish what he started by bringing down Victor with the help of Ollie and anyone else in the village he can get on side.

He said: "I think its abundantly clear that Ste’s never far from danger, as we say all the time, so yes it's going to put him in danger, but it also spurs Ste on to get justice for Sid.

"Like we keep saying, he’s lost so many people in his life, and he saw Sid as a bit of an adoptive son, or younger brother. He really cared for him, especially after everything that he went through with Sid’s dad Stuart, and the far right storyline.

"I don’t think Victor’s going to go down without a fight whatsoever. We’ve had a great week of television, sadly resulting in Sid’s death, but there’s also more great scenes to come.

"It’s not the end of Victor right this second, so the story continues with more dangerous things and more cast members in mortal danger."

On the fallout to Sid's death: "It's a story that’s rippled through the whole village. It’s not just about Sid, or Juliet, it's had an affect on not just the kids, but the parents as well.

"It’s torn people apart, wrong people are in prison, people have been losing their jobs, and Sid’s had his prophetic leg thrown in the river! It’s just been a story that’s literally fractured the whole village.

"If Ste doesn’t bring down Victor, I’m sure Nancy or Mandy or someone will in the end. His reign of terror can’t last for too much longer."

On why Ste is determined to get Victor, he went on: "He feels like he owes it to Sid, and he couldn’t be there for him, he couldn’t save him - that has now sparked this thing inside Ste that he wants to get justice for him. Also, he’s sick of people coming into our village and trying to take over. I think Ste’s had enough and wants to get justice.

"Without giving anything away, we are tittering on the edge of the end I think - hopefully the audience will be happy with what’s to come. I’m sure they will be."
