Holly Willoughby says she’s ‘plotting and planning’ on day off from This Morning as she poses for a selfie at her laptop

HOLLY Willoughby teased she was "plotting and planning" on her day off from presenting This Morning.

In a fresh-faced selfie, Holly, 39, smiled as she rested her head on her hand and balanced her laptop across her legs.

She looked effortlessly stylish in her 'for freedom' white T-shirt and dark denim jeans.

Her followers were curious as to what she was up to, with one asking: "What are you planning? Hope it involves more Gino."

Another was sure whatever it was would be a success, commenting: "Planning to succeed! ❤️."

A third complimented: "Your so amazing! Thankyou for being my whole inspiration!! ✨💞."

On Monday, This Morning viewers were surprised to tune in and see Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield missing from screens.

The pair, who host the ITV show from Monday to Thursday are taking a break, with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford standing in.

Holly and Phillip have two weeks off the show for half term, which for most British schools begins either this week or next.

One surprised viewer tweeted: "I was not prepared for Ruth & Eamonn when I switched on #ThisMorning."

Many were pleased to see the change, with one posting: "Awww!! Love you guys in this morning."

Another wrote: "Brilliant looking forward to this half term."

The pair explained what was going on, with Eamonn saying: "Hello, Monday morning. Here we are at the start of half term for a lot of people.

"It's the start of us - Monday through to Thursday, Eamonn and Ruth."

Ruth added: "We're delighted to be here. Nice to have your company too. We've got a lot coming up for you this Monday."

The pair also hosted This Morning throughout the summer while Holly escaped to Portugal with her husband Dan and their three children.
