A unique cabin is said to be the perfect off-grid romantic treat for those in need of a getaway.
Lazy Bear hideaway, in Wirral, offers couples the chance to stay at a compact Nordic style which comes complete with its own fairy tale showman's wagon and steamy hot tub.
There's a handcrafted king-sized box bed as solar lamps and a log burning stove ensures it stays cosy and warm.
Situated on the edge of a private lake, surrounded by woodlands and open fields, couples may sense they're a world away from the fast pace of life, yet you're only a short drive from Liverpool and Chester.
Owner and host Michal Simpson explained to 2chill what sets her getaway apart from others in the area.
The 56-year-old originally from West Kirby said: "It's a fabulous location, on summer's days, you can cycle along the track to the pubs in Parkgate, watch the comings and goings on the beach at West Kirby.
"In the winter you can nestle by the wood burner after a soak in the wood fired hot tub and prepare your evening meal on the fire pit."
One pair of newly weds rated the getaway five stars before explaining: "Perfect spot for getting away from it all.
"We spent a blissful three days here for our honeymoon feeding the ducks, soaking in the hot tub and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Beautifully cosy and quiet."
Another happy couple added: "The cabin and surrounding area was fantastic, lovely set-up with the pond which is a really nice feature.
"You are surrounded by either trees or fields with only the sheep and birds for company. The hot-tub was fantastic, good size and easy to heat up.
"It is great in all weathers, we enjoyed the hot tub in the rain and sun, and reading inside the cabin when it's cold outside but lovely and cozy inside. We could definitely have stayed longer!"
While a third review said: "An amazing, tranquil, beautiful hideaway! It was just perfect..
"The host has put so much thought into this place; its a real glamping 5 star treat for anyone who wants to get away from it all, we certainly didn't want to leave."
If you do decide to book, Michal said visitors can expect 'something magical as romance privacy and luxury come together.'
