Tributes have poured in after police confirmed a body has been discovered in the search for missing man Joel McDiarmid.
We told how the 28-year-old had vanished from the Bathgate area last month.
His family had issued a desperate plea for information after he was last seen at his home around 4pm on Wednesday, November 17.
After police confirmed today that a body had been found, many took to social media to share their heartbreak.

Police say formal identification is yet to take place, but Joel's family has been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
