Harvey Blair and Tyler Morton make their senior Liverpool debuts as Jurgen Klopp makes 11 changes for the visit to Preston.
Morton impressed as a second-half substitute in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win at Norwich last month and is rewarded with a start in the fourth round at Deepdale.
The Wirral-born midfielder starts alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones as Klopp's side aim to make it to the quarter-final of a competition they have won eight times.
Under-18s winger Blair is expected to line up on the left of the front three alongside Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino.
