HIGH-end fashion house Gucci is selling a coat for babies — at £865.
The jacket, which comes with bunting to cover the tot’s legs and feet, will last from just six to nine months old.
The upmarket Italian firm describes it as: “Crafted from navy GG jacquard nylon, the jacket has a Gucci logo stripe along the sleeves.”
It is part of a bank-breaking range of garments for new borns.
It has a bib, hat and baby grow set for £210, socks for £55 and fancy changing bags for mum and dad at £1,260.
And a wool one-piece with the Gucci logo is an eye-watering £310. Baby boots are more than £300, too.
Fashion expert Anastasia Kenyon said: "It is a lot of money to spend on a piece of clothing that the baby’s going to grow out of in a few months.

“This is part of a relatively new trend in the internet age of designer clothing for babies.
"A lot of social media influencers like to dress their children up like themselves in top end merchandise which is a big driving force.
“To me, it feels a bit garish given the current economic climate.”
