Good Girls Guide to Kinky Sex has viewers cringing during vibrator challenge as they ask if they’ve ‘gone back to 1999’

THOSE watching the Good Girls Guide to Kinky Sex were left cringing during the "boring" vibrator challenge.

Some viewers of the Channel 5 show felt that the sex toy task wasn't risque enough, as they suggested the three couples - eager to spice up life in the bedroom - needed to "get out more" and asked if they'd "gone back to 1999".

The programme follows Shannon and Liam from Derbyshire, Charlotte and Bradley from Essex, and Lara and Andrew from London, as they attempt to overhaul their sex lives.

At the beginning of tonight's second episode, the couples were given a box of vibrators to have some fun with - including the rabbit, cock ring and bullet varieties.

However, several viewers felt that introducing sex toys into the bedroom, during a show about kinky sex, was rather tame.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Has channel 5 gone back to 1999 with this #KinkySex show?"

Another commented: "Do these couples get out at all? No toys of their own or even go out to get some."

A third shared: "Come on people...learn to live a little and have more fun between the sheets! Man...some Brits are way too repressed."

And fourth added: "Every lady should have a bunny (vibrator) or something similar in their bedside drawer."

In agreement, a fifth simply wrote: "Meh! Boring."

Those watching at home were no more impressed by the next challenge for the couples - "wax play".

One person wrote: "I can’t bear this programme. People acting like something as simple as wax play is 'new and exciting'."

Another pointed out: "Dripped candle wax f*****g stings! As for getting it off after..."

A third added: "Try candle play blindfolded! Imagining the ways this could go wrong!"

It comes after last week's Good Girls Guide to Kinky Sex viewers complained it wasn't raunchy enough.

Brits took to Twitter to moan about the dry content in the Channel 5 programme, after three couples were given their 'kinky' gifts - which included run of the mill vibrators.

The lovers were supposed to be gifted a sex toy which would open their eyes to new bedroom activities.

Posting on social media, one viewer moaned: "So apparently it's kinky using a vibrator.

"Oh please, that's far from kinky. That's normal. Can't watch this I will just be laughing so much."

While a second said: "Just turned on Good Girls Guide to Kinky Sex and I couldn't be less turned on."
