A three-year-old girl taking the coronavirus lockdown very seriously has said she will close her beauty salon until Christmas.
Harlie Slater-Dawson, who operates her toy beauty salon operates from her bedroom, will not take any chances and has imposed the nine-month closure herself.
In the funny clip, the toddler tells her mum and dad that the shop is shut and tells everyone to "go away and stay home".
Mum Cherrelle Slater says she and partner Adam Dawson haven’t told Harlie the full extent of the coronavirus pandemic, Manchester Evening News reports.
But the bright little girl has sussed that something is up and knows she needs to “stay inside” to protect those she loves.
Her mum told the title: “She’s never around when the news is on, but she’s been asking if swimming is open and she usually goes horse riding and to baby ballet so we’ve had to explain that they’re closed for now.
“We’ve been talking to my aunty on Skype and Harlie told her: ‘Mummy is keeping me at home, I can’t go anywhere’.
“She’s decided to close her beauty salon for now. She knows we need to stay inside to keep nana safe even though she wants to see her and her cousins.
“I’m working from home at the moment and when I’m on business calls she’ll shout ‘can I come to your house?’”
Though Harlie’s beauty salon is closed for now, she’s still been finding ways to entertain herself during the lockdown.
“She loves her makeup and putting makeup on mum and dad,” says Cherrelle, "Her daddy has been getting his lipstick and nails done."
“We’re lucky that she’s got plenty to do at home and in the garden.
“I have had people saying she gives Boris a run for his money with this ‘stay at home’ message. With Harlie there’s never a dull moment.”
