COPS are hunting a man who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl after approaching her in a North London park.
The family member told a relative he tried to spark up a conversation with her before attacking her last night.
Her relative then called the police to report the alleged rape in Chestnuts Park, Haringey.
A cordon remains in place around the scene this morning.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said they were called to scene at 7.10pm last night.
"The victim was allegedly approached by a man who tried to engage her in conversation before raping her," the statement read.
"The victim later alerted a family member who called police."
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
