A CNN reporter has been arrested live on air while covering the protests in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd.
Omar Jimenez was detained with his camera crew and producer, though it was not immediately clear why.
Footage shows Jimenez reporting in front of a line of riot police following unrest in Minneapolis last night.
He is heard off-camera describing efforts by police to scatter the protests and then saying: "I'm sorry."
A police officer is then seen telling Jimenez, "You're under arrest", while he and a colleague move to put Jimenez's hands behind his back.
Other members of CNN staff took to twitter to decry the incident.
Anchor Jim Sciutto wrote: "My colleague @OmarJimenez, reporting calmly and cooperatively, was just arrested on live television along with his crew."
