Gary Neville's row with Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has intensified after the Manchester United legend branded his enemy "a leech".

Neville this week waded in on the row between Raiola and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was quick to tell the so-called super agent: "Paul is our player and not Mino’s."

The war of words started after Raiola last week claimed wantaway star Pogba feels more at home in Italy and that's why his client would like to return to former side Juventus.

But Raiola has since hit back at Neville and told the former United defender to "screw himself".

“Gary Neville can go screw himself. He has never done a successful job in his life outside of being a fantastic football player,” Raiola said of Neville.

“If he is so good at doing his business, why aren’t Salford City in the Premier League?”

Now Neville, who was celebrating his 45th birthday on Tuesday, has had yet another say on Raiola, posting on Twitter: "The best birthday wish I could have had from this leech!'"

Raiola also appeared on talkSPORT on Tuesday morning to hit back at Neville.

"Gary Neville has such a big knowhow of football that I’m surprised his Salford City is not in the Premier League already," the agent said.

"He should maybe be on the board of directors at Manchester United. Maybe he should ask them for a job.

"I don’t care what Gary Neville says."

On Solskjaer, Raiola added: "I thought that what Solskjaer said was out of line.

"Obviously he took apart sentences for an interview of mine and acted offended that I’d offered Paul Pogba to clubs without permission or whatever.

"But I was asked if Paul would fancy Italy. He has a second house. That’s not the case now. He’s concentrated on Manchester United, getting back in the team as soon as possible and having a great end to the season. "
