Furious Love Island fans complain to Ofcom over show’s ‘cliffhanger endings’

FURIOUS Love Island fans have complained to Ofcom over the show's "cliffhanger endings".

The programme has left viewers guessing about what's going to happen next a number of times this series.

But this has infuriated some viewers so much that they've shared their strong feelings with the telly regulator.

It can now be revealed that a total of 37 complainants objected to episode 32, which aired last Thursday (29 July 2021), being left on a cliffhanger.

Viewers were desperate to know who the girls were going to couple up with after the shocking antics that went on in Casa Amor.

The end of the episode saw Chloe Burrows pick Dale Mehmet, while her partner Hugo Hammond returned to the main villa with Amy Day.

It was then followed by Toby Aromolaran walking down the stairs with bombshell Mary Bedford, leaving his former girl Abigail Rawlings heartbroken.

But the question on everyone's lips was if Millie Court's man Liam Reardon was going to return to the villa with Lillie Haynes - and viewers never got to find out.

It's not the first time producers have played with viewers emotions by making them wait.
