Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather came to blows last night as a confrontation over a potential fight led to a mass brawl.

Mayweather was in Miami to promote his forthcoming exhibition bout with Jake's older brother Logan.

But after he had conducted his media interviews, the ring legend was approached by Jake who wanted his own bout with Mayweather.

After a brief conversation, Jake grabbed Mayweather's hat before he was wrestled to the ground by the boxer and his entourage.

YouTube star Jake later posted a video showing he had planned to snatch the cap before approaching Mayweather.

Here is everything that was said between the pair...

Jake Paul: "What's up? You looking over here? What's up? You wanna run it two in one night?"

FM: "Absolutely"

JP: "Let's make it happen!"

FM: "Absolutely!"

JP: "Let's make it happen. Yes sir!"

FM: "Get the paperwork for this bum."

JP: "Get Al Haymon [Mayweather's manager] out here."

FM: "We don't need Al Haymon, I'm my own boss."

At that stage members of Mayweather's team intervened and dragged their man away from the ruckus.

The 44-year-old was led away into the bowels of the stadium as he repeatedly vowed to "kill that motherf*****".

Logan later admitted the incident had ratcheted up the tension ahead of his bout with Mayweather.

"This s*** is so personal; this s*** was going to be kind of cute and we were going to put on a good show but now it's going to be a f****** fight, it's going to be a war," he said.

The elder Paul brother towered over Mayweather when they faced off earlier, enjoying a 20cm height advantage.

He is also set to enjoy a 20lb weight advantage when they clash at the same stadium in a month's time.

The result of the fight will not be added to either man's record with Mayweather content with his pristine 50-0 ledger.

His last professional fight was his 10th-round stoppage of Conor McGregor in 2017 while Logan's sole outing was his rematch with KSI in 2019 which he lost on points.
