Free football tips: Man Utd’s Maguire to score against Leicester, Liverpool thrash Newcastle, and Nicolas Pepe to open Arsenal account

FEAR not, the Premier League returns this weekend.

International week has been a blast - especially if you backed our 45/1 five-fold from last week - and there's plenty of value to be found amongst a packed top-flight schedule.

Liverpool vs Newcastle (Saturday, 12.30pm)

WHAT a cracker to get the Premier League weekend underway.

We won't wheel out the usual stats about this pair having played each other 5763 times in the top-flight, along with the usual stirring montages of 4-4 draws in the mid-90s.

The sad reality for Toon fans is this isn't the heavyweight clash it once was.

You only have to look at the 22/1 on offer for an away win to realise that the bookies don't see this as a contest.

Liverpool are playing at Anfield, which means you back them to win - and win handsomely.

That's no disrespect to Steve Bruce's men, who orchestrated a terrific rearguard action against Spurs to silence the many critics.

But after that bonus three points on the road, they head to Merseyside to face a side who possess all the movement, creativity and ruthlessness of Spurs - yet are far more consistent with it.

Jurgen Klopp's side haven't lost here in all competitions since May 2017.

They won't keep that record going forever, someone is eventually going to turn them over. But not this weekend.

We can only see goals - and plenty of them past Martin Dubravka.

The Reds put four past Newcastle without reply last season and have netted seven in their two games at Anfield so far this season.

This just isn't a happy hunting ground for the Toon and Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all set to run riot once again.

The Senegalese has started the new term in frightening form and you'd be daft not to back him to net his third of the campaign here.

Liverpool to beat Newcastle and over 3.5 goals: 23/20

Sadio Mane to score first: 16/5

Reds to score four or more plus Salah to assist Mane: 13/2

Manchester United vs Leicester (3pm, Saturday)

OLE might be at the wheel - but he desperately needs to take off the handbrake.

Just as we tipped before the international break, United struggled on their visit to the South Coast and returned north with a disappointing point after taking the lead against Southampton.

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka already on the treatment table, two bright sparks of an inconsistent start to the season have been fellow new-boys Harry Maguire and Dan James.

Maguire comes up against his former club here - and will be keen to put that humongous dome of his to good use.

We fancy him to haunt Brendan Rodgers with a goal here at Old Trafford.

But we're not predicting a walk in the park for the hosts.

One thing Solskjaer needs is a clean sheet, with his side failing to record one since their false-dawn against Chelsea on opening day.

The 7/10 on both teams to score here looks one of the bankers of the weekend.

Leicester are unbeaten so far in the league and are searching for a third-straight victory after seeing off Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

Since a 0-0 stalemate with Wolves, they've looked back to their counter-attacking best and Jamie Vardy looks a player reborn under the tutelage of Rodgers.

Their record at the Theatre of Dreams isn't great though - so we're recommending you play on the goals market and leave the result well alone.

And have a nibble on the Foxes finishing above United at the end of the season.

The 25/1 Ladbrokes special on Maguire to net here but Leicester to pip the Red Devils come May is well worth a quid or two.

Both teams to score at Old Trafford: 7/10

Harry Maguire to score against his old club: 8/1

Maguire to score and Leicester to finish above United at the end of the season: 25/1

Watford vs Arsenal (Sunday, 4.30)

BEWARE the new manager bounce.

Watford stunned this week as they binned the popular Javi Gracia and 30 minutes later brought back Quique Sanchez Flores for a second crack at the Vicarage Road hot-seat.

He's got a baptism of fire to begin his second spell in charge, with the new-look Gunners making the short journey from North London.

Arsenal should have beaten Spurs in the derby a fortnight ago and played better at Anfield than the 3-1 scoreline suggests.

Unai Emery has been waiting for a chance to unleash his full Arsenal.

This is his chance - and we reckon Nicolas Pepe finally shows the Gunners faithful what they paid £72million for.

The French winger has shown flashes of brilliance so far in his brief time in an Arsenal shirt, just without the end-product.

And at a ground where they've won on six of their last seven visits, he can be the driving force behind a first Premier League win in three games.

Watford won't finish bottom of the table this season, which is where they sit going into this one.

Their squad is too finely tuned, too talented to do so. But it's very easy to get cast adrift in this division.

And with a trip to face Manchester City up next, they cannot afford to head to the North West next weekend with just two points from five games.

Both their home games this season have seen three goals or more - it's the sensible play on what is sure to be a charged afternoon at The Vic.

And if you do fancy the Hornets to pick up a first win of the season, Ladbrokes' 16/1 special on Pepe to score but Watford to win is a big, big price.

Watford vs Arsenal to feature over 2.5 goals: 8/13

Nicolas Pepe to open account for Gunners: 13/8

Pepe to score but Watford to win: 16/1
