Forgotten toilets found on Platforms 10 and 12 had been abandoned for years. But history buffs will be happy to know that funding from Network Rail's Putting Passengers First program has restored the station to its Grade I listing and is now free to use.

Andy Phillips, station manager at Network Rail's Bristol Temple Meads, said the new facility should ease the strain on rush hour toilet services.
