As previously reported by the New York Times, one passenger recently asked what a "disrespectful" middle seat passenger should do. I asked for advice. I had to take both armrests while spreading my legs at the same time. In response to this question, Kristie Koerbel told the publication that it was an "unwritten rule" for middle seat passengers to get both armrests.

As a flight attendant she was 20. Christie, who works for the year, continues:

"Try joking things like 'they're getting smaller and smaller'. It's an acknowledgment that your problem is with the seat, not the person, and that you and yours are together.

"If the person is quite tall and collapses completely into the seat and has nowhere to go, you can. Offer to swap seats, although we all hate the middle one." , may be more comfortable for both during the flight."

However, Christie warned that this course of action should only be taken if it feels safe and comfortable.
