Working from home, Julie has spent years fine tuning her range, ensuring each product is safety tested to the highest of standards.

And her hard work certainly paid off when she was awarded The Prestige Award for Skincare Specialist of the Year Scotland 2021, followed by the Good Health & Well-being silver award for Best Natural Skincare, and then the Bambini Awards Best Skin Healing Cream for Babies 2021.

Julie told Lanarkshire Live: "While working part-time as a clinical aromatherapy masseuse, as well as a full-time office job, I started making natural dry skin cream and shea butter for my family, who had eczema and psoriasis 14 years ago. and they no longer use steroidal creams, much to my delight.

"My daughter's eczema has been managed for over seven years with my healing cream.

"Through this I started gifting my products to friends who were affected by dry skin conditions. I received fantastic feedback and achieved results in effectively treating eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, acne, skin tags and viral infections so I started making my own moisturiser and All About Rose was born, followed by another 12 all natural skincare products, without all of the nasties and known carciogens."

This year Julie also launched an all natural and effective midge, tick, mosquito, insect repellent called Beastie Be Gone that has taken the outdoor market by storm with rave reviews.

The 54-year-old added: "To be awarded Specialist Skincare Company in 2021 was just mind blowing. To say I was emotional accepting my award is an understatement and to know the judges chose me as I was the only company who did not use chemicals in their products was amazing.

"It's recognition for all of my hard work so far and spurs me on to take things further."
