A Rightmove report said Hexham was the UK's happiest place to live - but will these five houses and their asking price put a smile on your face?
With its quaint cobbled streets, ancient abbey, and thriving arts scene, Hexham in Northumberland has once again been crowned the UK's happiest place to live.
It came out tops in property website Rightmove's annual Happy at Home Index which takes into account factors including the friendliness of their neighbours, its sense of belonging, the quality of the townâ€™s local amenities, and its access to open space.
We decided to find out how much it costs to live there and here are five properties for sale in the town

The first is a beautifully presented six bedroom detached house in The Croft, an exclusive development of six properties built around 2004.
