Firefighters work on monstrous hell at Scottish hotel overnight as flames tear through building

The fire brigade continues to fight the raging flames that tore through the derelict Scottish hotel more than 12 hours ago. The road outside the Lundin Links hotel in Leven, Fife remains closed after emergency services were first called to the scene at approximately 8:30 pm the previous night.

Shocking video footage shows fire burning through the roof of the iconic listed building, which closed in 2014. Thick black smoke rose into the night sky and orange flames could be seen from miles away.

Many residents were evacuated from nearby homes, and at least he was attended by seven firefighters with specialized equipment and height adjusters. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were still present.

In a statement released last night, they said:

"There were no casualties reported and the crew currently remains on site."

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
