'Beloved' 87-year-old man's last moments before being stabbed to death by scooter

The footage captures the final moments of a "very loved" old man who was stabbed to death while riding his mobile scooter home.

CCTV reports that outside Tesco's branch in Greenford, West London, 87-year-old Thomas O'Halloran was busking to raise money forUkraine. It shows the way home.

This clip was filmed just 20 minutes before he was fatally attacked a mile from the store.

Ronak Patel, a clerk, saw Thomas going back and forth on a scooter, and after seeing Thomas putting donations in yellow boxes every day, he said that I recognized him in the video.

Mr Coutinho caught part of the incident on CCTV cameras, but was hidden by vegetation.

Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson, the Western Area Command, said today that Thomas' life was taken by "gratuitous violence".

Members of the community shared his memories on social media, calling him 'helping people when I can'. He describes himself as a "nice" guy.
