EA has confirmed that Rulebreakers is returning to FUT in FIFA 22, with Ultimate Scream not featuring for the second year running.

The FIFA 22 Rulebreakers promo will feature special cards that are given to a selection of high-profile players which feature game-changing stat updates (downgrades and upgrades), transforming them into different kinds of stars with different attributes and abilities.

The promo was a fan-favourite in FIFA 21, and the Rulebreakers promo was announced on Wednesday evening through the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team loading screens, showing off a nice-looking card design. But the announcement that Rulebreakers will be returning also confirms that Ultimate Scream will not be returning in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

A prime example of how the Rulebreakers promo works is with the FUT 21 Rulebreakers Harry Kane item, who featured in the FUT 21 Rulebreakers Team 1. The Tottenham striker had his pace massively upgraded from 68 to 91, but also had his shooting downgraded from 81 to 87 in response.

So, who do we predict will be included in the upcoming FIFA 22 Rulebreakers promo? And when will the promo be released?

Let's take a look.
