With EA SPORTS deciding to release the Headliners Promo on Friday January 17, a lot of FIFA fans were surprised, with many expecting the Future Stars promotion to be launched, as it was launched on a similar date last season.

But with the end of the Headliners promo on Tuesday January 28, FIFA fans are now fully expecting the Future stars promo to begin on Friday January 31, with some exciting cards expected to be launched.

And sure enough, just after 6pm on Tuesday January 28, EA SPORTS FIFA teased the Future Stars promo launch on their official Twitter account, confirming our suspicions.

In last year's FUT 19 Future Stars promo,  Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, Vinicius Junior, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Matteo Guendouzi were all featured, with these players given incredible attribute boosts which were really popular with the FIFA community.

None of these players can therefore be included in this year's Future Stars promo, with a new set of exciting FUT cards set to be released. We think these could include Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood and Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli.

Here are our predictions for the FUT 20 Future Stars squad.

This is just a FUT 20 Future Stars prediction, so there is no guarantee that any players mentioned will be included.

As a reminder, the criteria in which EA SPORTS base their Future Star selections is: "The hottest, breakthrough prospects who are 23 or younger and have shown high potential but have not yet become established global stars."

So, Kylian Mbappe and Marcus Rashford are examples of the type of youngsters who won't be included in the promo, due to their already strong world reputation.

The FUT 20 Future Stars promo has been teased to start on Friday January 31.
