Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has revealed the fashion advice he gave his manager and fellow FIFA Best Awards nominee ahead of tonight's ceremony.
Arriving in Milan for the ceremony, Jurgen Klopp admitted that he wasn't sure if he had the right outfit to wear and the centre back told him he would need to get a tuxedo.
Speaking to LFC TV he said: "We are here, we'll change later. Virgil told me I have to wear a tuxedo so I've tried to find one , and we'll see what happens."
When asked about how it was down to his guidance that Klopp was going to be dressing appropriately for the occasion, the Dutch defender, who has already picked up UEFA men's player of the year trophy admitted he was sent a picture of his manager's outfit.
"Yeah, I told him. He sent me a picture and he looked alright, he looks alright, I told him, so he's going to be fine."

The Reds boss clearly has an eye on his side's next fixture, against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup , as he admitted that attending the event is 'tricky'.
He said: "There's still so much to do, it's always difficult to be here and think about what happened, when one half of the brain is already on Wednesday.
"So that makes it a bit tricky, but it's all good."
Three Liverpool stars are up for awards in Milan tonight including van Dijk, Alisson and Klopp.
Jurgen Klopp is nominated for the Best Men’s Coach Award and is up against Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino, while Alisson Becker is up for the Best Goalkeeper Award and faces competition from Ederson and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Mo Salah was nominated last year for the main award but was beaten to it by Luka Modric - this time Virgil Van Dijk has made it into the final three and is up against (surprise surprise) Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
