This Morning Holly Willoughby was left in tears by a family who've gone viral with their coronavirus-inspired reworking of a song from Les Miserables.

The Marsh family from Kent filmed their brilliant re-imagining of the hit musical at the weekend for friends and family they've been separated from due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it quickly went much further than they ever expected, with people across the world watching it as word spread and then sharing it with their social media followers.

The Les Mis video, which sees the parents and children reference things like stock piling toilet roll, drinking too much and not being able to see their friends, has gone viral and after watching it live on air on This Morning, Holly was visibly moved.

Speaking to parents Ben and Danielle Marsh alongside their children, Alfie, Thomas, Ella and Tess at home via video link, Holly told them: "“I love that, it makes me really emotional watching it.

"It’s really funny so I don’t know why but I think it’s just that family coming together and doing that is so nice.”

“There are so many families out there that are spending time together, trying to think of things to do,” she added.

“There’s something magical that happens when a family does that and comes together.”

Asked by Phillip how it felt to go viral, Danielle explained: “It is completely surreal, been the craziest 40 hours, people asking if we could share it, just snowballed.

“We’re stuck in our bubble you forget what’s going on except for constant pings from my phone.”
