F1 Bahrain Grand Prix LIVE RESULT: Romain Grosjean survives fireball crash as Hamilton wins restarted race – latest

LEWIS HAMILTON secured victory in the restarted Bahrain Grand Prix.

The race had suspended following a horrendous crash involving Romain Grosjean on the first lap of the race. Grosjean miraculously escaped with just minor burns despite a huge fireball upon impact with the barrier.

    Hamilton, Verstappen, Perez, Albon, Gasly, Norris, Sainz, Leclerc, Ricciardo, Ocon.


    But it was a slow stop from Red Bull. Over 5 seconds most unlike that team, who are usually so quick.


    The world champion is keeping the 5 second gap over Verstappen.

    Sainz now gets past Ocon and into 6th place. McLaren teammate, Lando Norris is in 5th.
