An exiled investment banker who became a bitter critic of President Vladimir Putin after leaving Russia has been found dead in Washington, DC.
Dan Rapoport, 52, a Latvian-American, recently committed suicide, according to Russian media reports.
His obituary was revealed in his Telegram post by the former editor of the Russian magazine Tatler.
Uniya Pugacheva claimed that Mr. Rapoport's dog was found in a park near her home in Washington, DC, along with her suicide note and money.
However, his widow, Alena, reportedly denied that the death was a suicide.
