Everton's 'unique' wide playmaker and what he can offer Ancelotti

Footballers are good at different things.

The players that tend to thrive are the ones that have their strengths and weaknesses appreciated by those above them which seems basic, but often doesn’t happen.

A forward may not be specifically skilled when required to find the back of the net, and a player who’s labelled as a defender may hold traits that are predominantly offensive.

Alex Iwobi was signed by Everton in the summer for a fee in the region of £35m. He’s yet to truly catch fire at Goodison Park, but once presented with a platform to apply his game effectively, it’s reasonable to suggest that he’ll have a greater impact over time.
