Winger Luis Henrique, 18, is also thought to have Napoli, Carlo Ancelotti's former club, watching him.

The price-tag for the teenager is not mentioned, though the Rio de Janeiro side's player is very highly-rated.

Defensive alternative

According to the Daily Express, Everton could move for Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo should they miss out on two other targets.

Aston Villa's Tyrone Mings and Chelsea's Kurt Zouma are said to be ahead of Adarabioyo on Everton's shortlist, but the City man would be a cheaper option.

The 22-year-old has made eight first-team appearances for City but none since their Carabao Cup quarter-final penalty shoot-out win over Leicester in December 2017.

Since then he has been out on two season-long loans with West Brom and Blackburn, both in the Championship.

Bailey latest

Reported Everton transfer target Leon Bailey is likely to be on the move this summer after his agent confirmed that his current club are not against a sale.

Leon Bailey has been linked with a move to Everton

His agent, Aidy Ward, said, as quoted in Football.London: "The club [Bayer Leverkusen] told his stepfather that he can go for a certain amount.

"As soon as I have spoken to the club and the situation is clear, we will know what to do."

According to Sport1, Everton and Tottenham are among the teams interested in signing the 22-year-old Jamaica international, who can play on either flank.

Left-back monitored

Everton have been name-checked as a team with an eye on Olympiakos left-back Kostas Tsimikas.

Both Liverpool and Leicester City have enquired about the availability of the 24-year-old, according to the Daily Mail, with the Blues and Chelsea also though to hold a possible interest.

Everton are in need of a replacement for Leighton Baines but it would appear that a couple of other teams in the Premier League are ahead of them in the queue for Tsimikas at this moment in time.

Saints turn down Kenny

Southampton have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Jonjoe Kenny from Everton this summer after his loan deal with Schalke in Germany expired.

The Daily Star report that Southampton are instead on the verge of signing Kyle Walker-Peters from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

That deal is likely to see midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg go to London from the south coast, a player that Everton, of course, were linked heavily with.

Ancelotti's message

Andrea Pirlo was announced as Maurizio Sarri's replacement yesterday after Juve were knocked out of the Champions League against Lyon.

Tomori target?

With Declan Rice a player that Chelsea are desperate to add to their ranks this summer, the London club could be willing to loan out centre-back Fikayo Tomori.

And Everton could be interested, according to FanSided, should that be the case.

Chelsea have already spent a great deal of cash this summer - and could yet add £90 million Kai Havertz to their attacking ranks - but are thought to be keen on West Ham's Rice, who is valued at around £65 million.

Fikayo Tomori was supposedly recently linked with a loan switch to France with Stade Rennais with the Ligue 1 club eager to take 22-year-old for next season, but should Everton intervene?
