Duncan Ferguson can be bold with team selection

Phil Kirkbride: It’s Big Dunc’s last game in charge before Carlo Ancelotti.

And he should be as brave and as bold as he has been.

Maybe even bolder. Maybe even braver.

Give Anthony Gordon his full Everton debut and start Moise Kean.

My team (4-4-2): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Mina, Baines; Richarlison, Davies, Sigurdsson, Gordon; Kean, Calvert-Lewin.

Why not have a go at Arsenal?

Sam Carroll: It looks like it's going to be Duncan Ferguson's last game as Everton interim manager, then.

And hopefully he's given a little more to work with.

The noises that Djibril Sidibe and Gylfi Sigurdsson are on the mend from illness were welcome on Friday but it still leaves him a little short in midfield.

Leighton Baines continues to deputise if Lucas Digne can't make it.

I'd push Mason Holgate back into a holding position and allow him another game to showcase his qualities while Moise Kean comes into the attack for Bernard.

Why not have a go at a fragile Arsenal?

My team (4-1-2-3): Pickford; Sidibe, Keane, Mina, Baines/Digne; Holgate; Davies, Sigurdsson; Kean, Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison.

Carlo Ancelotti and Everton

Stick with 4-4-2 and take game to Arsenal

Sean Bradbury: One last hurrah for Big Dunc before Carlo Ancelotti is in place?

What a ride it has been with Ferguson at the helm for the past couple of weeks.

I'd be going 4-4-2 again for this one given the players are in a bit of a rhythm with it.

Let's start up front where it is much easier: Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to keep building their blossoming partnership.

In midfield, I'd stick with the flat four and have Gylfi Sigurdsson and Tom Davies pulling the strings in the centre.

The temptation to continue with Mason Holgate in there is strong, but Everton should look to take the game to Arsenal despite the fact the visitors may be buoyed by Mikel Arteta's presence in the dugout. Holgate can come on and shore things up if needed.

On the flanks I'd go with Bernard and Alex Iwobi.

Then at the back it's Jordan Pickford in goal - with Djibril Sidibe, Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Leighton Baines just ahead of him.

No need to rush Lucas Digne back after the performance we saw from Baines against Leicester.

My team (4-4-2): Pickford; Sidibe, Keane, Mina, Baines; Iwobi, Davies, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison.
