Europa League odds: Manchester United favourites despite tough draw, Tottenham, Arsenal and Rangers in the mix

MANCHESTER UNITED are the 7/2 favourites for the Europa League despite drawing AC Milan in the round of 16.

United overcame Real Sociedad in the round of 32 and have been paired with European giants Milan in a mouth-watering tie for the next round.

Tottenham and Arsenal are second and third favourites at 9/2 and 6/1, while Steven Gerrard's Rangers are 19/1.

Rangers beat Royal Antwerp in a crazy game that saw them win 5-2 on the night and 9-5 on aggregate.

Molde are the longest price at 130/1 while Ajax and Villarreal have a real shot at 9 and 10/1 respectively.

The fixtures for the next round are as follows

Prior to the draw United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had said he wanted to draw Norwegian side Molde, the team he was in charge of before returning to Old Trafford.

He said: "Of course, I would like to meet Molde.

“I spoke to Erling [Moe] this morning and they had loads of injuries and illness, and the state of the season they are at, that must be the performance of the round to go through against Hoffenheim. Absolutely exceptional.

“I am so proud of Erling and the boys and, if we play them, we know it is going to be difficult.

“Unfortunately, if we draw them, it is not going to be in Norway.”
