Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland is one of the most exciting youngsters in world football right now.

We used popular football management simulation game Football Manager 2020 to have a bit of fun and predict how the future could pan out.

To set up this simulation, we used the Football Manager 2020 editor to arrange a future transfer of Haaland moving to Old Trafford, for a fee of £30 million in January 2020.
We then simulated the game for the entire season, to see how both Haaland and the club performed in the 2019/20 season.

His potential ability of -9 means he could reach a current ability of 180/200 on Football Manager 2020, to put that into context, the game suggests that Haaland could become better than the likes of Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane, Sadio Mane, Sergio Aguero and Robert Lewandowski.
