A 102-year-old woman received rounds of applause and cheers as she was discharged after beating coronavirus.
The woman, a patient at Aintree Hospital, was one of the older patients on the ward and defied all odds to beat the disease.
The video shows the woman being wheeled through the hospital corridors while staff clap and cheer.
An internal message to hospital staff said: "Aintree Hospital is celebrating the fantastic news that one of their oldest patients has recovered from coronavirus.
"Everyone on the ward will miss [her], who has been discharged back to her care home, as she had been keeping them all entertained during her stay.
"A 'breath of fresh air', she was more concerned about staff looking after her fellow patients on her ward than herself, and was described as 'always putting others first'.
"It really is brilliant news to hear."
The woman's survival comes as a ray of positivity for Aintree, which has lost two members of staff to the virus.
Staff nurse Liz Glanister, 68, and patient discharge planner Barbara Moore, 54, both died after developing COVID-19 in the past week.
